Thanks! I see you took some effort and browsed previous comments I see I made a really nice painting that works well with imagination of my audience, I'm so happy to have such, let's say, impact on you The same question I asked a mate in the previous comment. Have I been featured somewhere or something as I'm getting many favs out of the sudden on this piece. Or you just came it across somehow differently?

No problem. Hehe, yeah, I like perusing the comments, just to see others inputs. And yes, yes it did, quite well. I'm pretty picky when it comes to forests, but this is just an absolute gem! I'm a sucker for old/enchanted forests, so this was a must have in my collection!
As for how I found it, it was in 'more like this'. It's great for helping one find sometimes unseen art, but also terrible for my train of thought. I don't even remember where I started, but I somehow ended up getting airbrushed backgrounds in the feed, but I'm so glad I did.
wowowowowowow!!! what brush did you use to pain this....grass is something i love to paint, but all the brushes i have dont create such a rough, awesome looking effect like your does, also this is awesome!!!!!!!!!!! D:!!!!!!!
Thanks. As far as I remember there was just hard round custom brush, some textured brush that I've made and other two. I just was messing around experimenting. May I ask if I was featured somewhere? I'm getting tons of favs (compared to the amount I normally get daily) there out of the sudden.
Im not entirely sure if you were featured, i was looking at someones daily deviantart, and you're picture was in the related...so i clicked on it. Im assuming people did the same.. its a win either way !!!
I assume you meant I should be happy with it I don't really know what CP refers to (Corel Painter? Just my guess) but if you meant software I use Photoshop CS 5 and as hardware - my Pentagram Virtuoso tablet (sometimes I can draw using Wacom Intuos 4 but rarely).
Thanks : ) I also think it really would improve but.. the only way I can draw leaves is abstract way you can see there. I'm afraid that if I try to make them more realistic and detailed it'd be a disaster ^^
i love your choices of color on this piece, the desaturated hues make for a beautifully realistic color pallet. The intensity of the contrast between dark and shadow is great, I am however curious if youconsidered using a color for the shadow rather than black like perhaps a dark red compliment or something. that is however my own sense of nitpickyness
